Pumpkins are beautiful. They come in all shapes and sizes, are dead easy to grow and most of them taste divine. We can roast them, steam them, pop them on pizza in risotto and make them into heart warming winter soups. One other use is making gnocchi. I’ve discovered that certain varieties of pumpkin are better suited to this use and some not so much. Find what ever works for you I guess.

I’ve written a recipe for these little pumpkin dumplings with a sun dried tomato and roast onion cheese sauce. Um that sauce….a little bit sexy.

Sometimes I love my veg food I consider that I could actually become a vegetarian. Then I get a slap on the face by Carnivore Rohan and I return to my senses.
