I have so many photos. I just want to post more so I can look back over the day.
If you want to come next year. Start drinking beer out of long necks NOW. Not twist top though.

I cooked a simple dinner of Newstead Bull Boar Sausage and the very last few bottles of last years passata.

absolutely love this. got a capper and tons of caps . . . and i can always make empty bottles! what keeps the passata from going bad in the bottle?
They caps hold very tight with our method. Even after being boiled for 5 hours or so they still hold tight under pressure. We have about <5% loss but we're okay with that.
beautiful photos, looks like a lot of fun!
Count me in – happy to start drinking long necks, hey it’s for a good cause!
Jeez, you look like you have the coolest family and friends, Rohan. So awesome.
Cheers
I could see this becoming a festival.
I think You’re right!
Your parties look as good as your food! If I didn’t live halfway around the planet, I would definitely be starting my campaign to finagle an invitation to next year’s.
Brilliant. I watched Looking For Alibrandi again recently, loving their “National Wog Day” passata fiesta and now this! I want in! The photos are brilliant Rohan (as always) and it just looks like everyone is having the best time. It makes me think I need to bring forward the date of my planned move back to the bush. I crave the community spirit.
The country is where all the cool kids live!
Wog day is ace!
what a day / What A Day that looks like!
As usual Rohan, your blog post is a visual feast and the photos show what fun was had! I had forgotten about bullboars; It has been about 35 years since I had the pleasure of eating them. My grandfather used to buy them somewhere near Castlemaine. Once eaten, never forgotten!
Wow! You have so many beautiful women at your passata day! It looks excellent fun.
It’s a tough life!
