Most weekends over the warmer months I’ll be at a wedding working as the guy that captures the day in images. It’s extremely hard work, and comes with side orders of extra stress and physical pressure. I’m not sure if I’ll be doing it for much longer to be honest.
But sometimes you get a real treat, the food. This week was a beautiful wedding, and it just happened to be a Chinese and Philipino wedding. So the food was, well exceptional. Not just the food served by the high class caterer’s at the receptions, but the food cooked by the family prior to the actual event itse;f. Home cooked Chinese and Philipino food. What flavours. Suckling pig, Lobster, Shark Fin Soup and one highlight for me was ‘Filipino’ vinegar cooked pork.
