I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s been a terrible growing season in Victoria. Not a very warm summer and far too much moisture. A stark contrast to the last decade.
It’s Autumn and by this time last year I had harvested at least 22kg of tomatoes by now. I’ve had a cereal bowl ripen so far this season.

I’ve done all I can do. I’ve monitored and restricted my watering regime, I’ve cut back and pruned like never before. It’s all up the the weather now.
Although some plants have struggled, my climbing French pumpkins are thriving.
